Why would I want to become a registered user? As a registered user, all of RentOK.com’s present and upcoming features are at your fingertips. Does it cost anything to search for properties? Not one cent! You are free to search RentOK.com’s database, and any information you provide is safe with us. We NEVER release user information to third parties.
Can I find roommates through RentOK.com? With RentOK.com, finding a roommate has never been easier. Once signed in as a registered user, you can post FREE classified ads on the website. (coming soon) Can RentOK.com help me fill out my application for the properties I am interested in? Interactive PDF application forms for most rental properties listed in RentOK.com’s database are available online which you can fill out at your leisure. Can I pay my rent through RentOK.com? With RentOK.com, you can pay rent online using your checking account. (coming soon)
How do I start a search? You can initiate a search on the Homepage or, once signed in, on the My Saved Searches or My Property Watch List pages. You can use either the map or key in the city, state, or zip code in the Search field to seek out rental properties listed in RentOK.com’s extensive database. Alternatively, you can refine your search by property type, number of beds and baths, maximum rent, etc.
How do I get additional information for the properties I like? If you see a property that interests you and need more information, you can email or call the property manager or landlord handling the property. Why are there no photos for some properties listed in RentOK.com? RentOK.com strives to present all pertinent data for rental properties listed on the website. New listings posted by advertisers, however, may or may not be uploaded by the advertiser. It is the advertiser's responsibility to upload his / her own photos, unless they have requested RentOK.com to take the photos. In that cause, our photographers need a few days to get to the property and get the photos uploaded.
Why are there are no rentals in the area I am interested in? You have access to all advertisements for vacancies posted in RentOK.com, but the inventory changes frequently. If a search yields nothing, then we currently have no rental property in our extensive database that satisfies your criteria. A search done another day, however, may yield different results. Please consult our database often.
Why did my search show that no properties matched my search? The search you entered may have been too specific. To broaden your search and get results, try one or more of the following:
What do I do when too many search results are returned? You can refine your search by doing any of the following:
I want to do a more specific search (for example, I only want to find properties that have a pool or ones that are unfurnished). What do I do? I don’t know the answer to this one as I am not sure if provisions were made for keyword searches.
What should I do if the search results do not match the search criteria I entered? Check if the search term (zip code, area name, etc) you used was keyed in or spelled correctly. If you continue to find an error, let us know through the feedback form.
How can I change the order of the listings on the search results page? There is a dropdown where you can sort by Price High to Low, Price Low to High, Featured Only or New Properties.
How do I view properties on the map? Move your cursor over the map. As your cursor hovers over an area, a list of available rental properties for that vicinity appears. Click on the map, and then click on the link in the list to bring you to the property search results. Don't forget to click on the logo in the bubbles to see our sponsors ads and coupons!
Where do the listings on this site come from? The listings on RentOK.com come from homeowners, landlords, and property managers who periodically post advertisements for vacancies on any rental property they may have.
How often is the website updated? RentOK.com is updated daily.

I want to see and inspect the property. What do I do? You can email or call the property manager or landlord handling the property. RentOK.com doesn't handle inspections or appointments for the landlord or property manager.
